Is there anyone who shouldn't try a Bioflow?

What kind of conditions can a magnet help?

What Does The Magnet Actually Do to the Blood?

The effect of magnotherapy is due to a process called Ionisation by Magnetic Induction. This is where the ions within the cells of the blood are, after passing through a magnetic field, able to carry more oxygen and nutrients to the site of cell damage. This accelerates healing and as healing occurs pain and inflammation can decrease. The blood is also able to carry away more waste products from areas of tissue damage for detoxification.

To ensure the maximum magnetic influence on electrons, Ecoflow has developed a patented magnetic module known as Central Reverse Polarity (CRP) designed specifically to help move electrons. All matter that passes through a CRP field is subjected to the additional "kick" of three opposed directional forces. This action provides a better environment for molecular change by the alignment of electrons. In other words, molecules that exit a CRP field are more efficient. The CRP module's configuration also provides a field that is focused in one direction and shielded on the reverse, providing a more concentrated field.

Which Bioflow should I choose?

Experience has shown us that although the Classic is effective in over 80% of cases, in some instances it will only provide partial relief. If your budget will extend to a Reflex, Active, Elite, Duo, Monet or Duet, with a deeper and more penetrating field then added benefit will be obtained. Ultimately, for extreme cases we recommend the new Boost pack with 6 magnets. These multiple magnetic modules are designed to be applied directly to the area of discomfort. The new Boost pack contains 3 breathable fabric straps of different lengths, to which the three double magnet strips can be attached anywhere ie ankle, knee, back or hip: or a combination of several worn simultaneously on different body areas.

Can you tell me more about the equine products?

These products have been found helpful in horses and ponies for speeding healing after soft tissue or tendon damage, after trauma or surgery, and with conditions that cause pain such as laminitis and arthritis. The products are available as brushing boots, and incorporate the Central Reverse Polarity magnetic units within them; and are available as a large size for horses and a small size for ponies. The Boots are made using breathable Stomatex, with sturdy velcro fastenings, and can be brushed or wiped clean. The products are quick to apply and do not require extended treatment times or the use of bulky equipment as with pulsed magnetic therapy units. It is generally recommended they be worn only for 12 hours at a time, except in severe cases where the horse is stabled. A review of these products in NZ Horse and Pony Magazine, March 2000 stated: "I would certainly recommend them as a worthwhile investment for everything from healing injuries to promoting general wellbeing in your horse."

Where Does the Dog or Cat Wear the Magnet?

The magnet is adjusted on the collar so that is sits over the side of the neck where the blood vessels are close to the surface. This is approximately 1/3rd of the way up from underneath the chin. In this way it can affect the fluid in the bloodstream. The Bioflow should be close fitting but not restrictively tight ie you should still be able to get two fingers underneath. For cats and dogs with long or thick hair it is necessary to trim or clip the hair between the magnet and the neck, and to keep it trimmed on a regular basis. For animals always ensure that plenty of drinking water is available because your animal will often drink more as part of the detoxifying process.

What About Magnetic Mattresses or Pillows?

Magnets will only be working for you while you are wearing them and for a short time afterwards. So it is more cost effective to buy a product that you can wear all the time, rather then a product that sits unused for the major portion of the day. You can use the Biopad as an adjunct to enhance the effect of your wriststrap and perhaps to help your back when driving, or your neck at night, or in your dogs basket.
