We have limited space in our converted stables on our lifestyle block just outside Mosgiel.

Units are spacious with Batts insulation, & can be used for a single dog or a family of dogs.

Bring your own pets bed, or use our hammock beds or low chairs with disposable bedding pads.

External Perspex and mesh door opens into large grassed dog run area with paddling pool.

Organic home prepared diet , Nutro GE Free pet food or provide your own food.

Under tile heating in each unit and dog jackets for cold or windy days provided.

Range of herbal, homoeopathic or Bach flower treatments for anxious animals.

One on one play sessions, family atmosphere.

Located 3 minutes north of Mosgiel, Otago, in the Outram direction.

Your facility was amazing, it is such a friendly and safe environment, and the dogs rooms were great.. I loved the space and freedom.

We are English and are well known for being potty about our animals and we are extremely fussy about where our 2 Border Terriers stay. We have been in New Zealand for 3 years now and yours is the best run and superbly well equipped boarding kennels that I have ever seen. There was no smell of dogs (some kennels absolutely stink) and the residents looked happy and very comfortable. The beds provided were wonderful and the food was the best that they could possibly have. We live in Cromwell and will happily travel to your kennels in future.

Just a note to let you know we really appreciated you looking after Abby for us. We could not get over just how settled she was when we picked her up and again we we got her home. Her stay was obviously very enjoyable and of the highest standard.

I think your kennels are fantastic - I looked around a lot when I boarded my older dogs before they died and there is no comparison.

Your place is the ONLY place in THE WORLD I would leave him!! You have a fantastic set up, it is soo reassuring to know our dogs are well cared for and not shut up in some gloomy cage 24h a day. It is much appreciated.

Thank you for providing Smudge with such a fantastic home for the weekend. We are so pleased that we have now found somewhere suitable to leave Smudge. He came home exactly the same happy dog that he went as. You definitely own the best Dog Homestay in Otago, and probably the whole of New Zealand.

D.A.P. diffuser now available for anxious animals! D.A.P. (dog appeasing pheromones) are a synthetic copy of pheromones secreted by the lactating bitch to calm puppies in times of stress. Research shows that even in adulthood these help comfort dogs in unfamiliar situations and help reduce the number of stress related behaviours.

Small to Labrador size dogs only, big dogs by special arrangement. Inspection by appointment only.
FEES: Standard Day charge: $22.50 per calendar day. Day of arrival and day of departure charged as full day. Dogs from same family sharing: $18.50 per dog/day Special needs dogs: dogs requiring complex care & interventions- $26.50 per day Overnight stay = 2 calendar days fees. 50% deposit for dogs staying more than 2 weeks. Overdue Accounts incur fees. Changed bookings at less than 7 days notice- if not rebooked you may be charged for unused days. Early collection of dogs during their stay, you will be charged for the full booked stay. Visits to vets: my time @ $30 per hour including traveling time
